About The Project

Camusa Apparel set out to raise funds for the founder's family in Cambodia, with proceeds from each item sold contributing to those in need. I designed three pieces to celebrate Cambodian-American culture, incorporating hand-illustrated graphics that beautifully capture the rich heritage of Cambodia.

The first design is inspired by the iconic Angkor Wat for its renowned historical significance. I wanted to integrate the temple into a modern and stylish piece that was suitable for casual wear, all while proudly representing the country’s cultural roots.

The following two designs draw inspiration from Hanuman, a heroic warrior who rescues a princess, and the traditional Apsara dance. These designs were created to preserve cultural traditions, values, and historical narratives across generations.

About The Project

Highland Terrace is a fictional ski resort and lodge created to explore map illustration and layout. The overall design concept was created to convey the idea of "luxury meets adventure". A visitor guide was designed to provide essential information and resources about the many offerings available at the ski resort.

Mountain Charm

The Highland Resort map was illustrated in Procreate to resemble a watercolor destination painting. Choosing to draw it by hand adds a charm that enhances the visitor’s experience while helping them find their way around the resort.

Stationery

A Welcome Letter For Esteemed Guests.

A welcome letter was created to elevate the luxury experience for the resort’s guests. I designed stationery intended for placement in guests’ rooms, further enhancing their overall stay.

The design concept for this guide revolves around the idea of “luxury meets adventure.” It combines modern luxury with a touch of vintage alpine charm. The layout design utilizes a grid system to help organize and present information consistently across each page.

Handwrytten is an innovative handwriting service that uses automated technology to write your messages with pen & ink. I produced a wide range of work including digital and print design for both the company and their clients.

A Customer-Grabbing Approach.

Marketing Material

Marketing material was created to showcase Handwrytten’s services while staying consistent with their playful branding. I was tasked to design a sample kit folder and a set of playing cards for their presence at the CES convention (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, serving as freebies to attract their target audience in the lively casino atmosphere.

Maintaining a Digital Presence.

Digital Assets

To maintain Handwrytten’s digital presence, I created digital assets for their website, blog, and email campaigns that was engaging, consistent, and aligned with their branding.

Printed Greeting Card Designs.

Greeting Cards

A variety of greeting cards were designed and formatted for print. Each card is tailored for both Handwrytten’s customers and clients to use for personal and business needs. They feature hand illustrations and original vector art, providing a handmade feel that complements their brand.

Developing Unique Handwritten Fonts.

Using font editing software, I created 20+ custom fonts and signatures that were replicated to accurately match the handwriting styles of the company’s clients.

Each custom font includes special ligatures, multiple alphabet variations, and a range of punctuation marks, designed to be used in various combinations to resemble a real handwritten note.

Matt’s photography style captures the movement and atmosphere of high-energy events. The branding concept aimed to simulate the experience of being part of a concert crowd through the screen. I achieved this by designing graphics with a vivid color palette and bold typography.

Craftstone Carpentry offers monthly workshops for people interested in learning new woodworking skills. They needed a logo rebrand and print materials to launch their latest workshop, "Woodshop For Kids." The new brand design is modern and inviting which reflects the exciting and educational experience awaiting aspiring woodworkers.

The Results

A Creative Hub For Woodworking.

Craftstone Carpentry was originally a woodworking shop that created original pieces for sale. As the business evolved into a community-based workshop, we embraced this transition by creating a tone that was more modern and inviting.

Evolving With the Brand.

Logo Rebrand

I refined the original logo by redirecting the focal point from the solid black hammer to the business’s name. By increasing the spacing between supporting elements, we achieved a more readable logo while still preserving the characteristics of the original design.

The Launch of Woodshop For Kids.

Woodshop For Kids is Craftstone’s latest workshop designed for families to bond while exploring the art of woodworking. In support of their launch, we created a bi-fold brochure for promotional material.

The goal was to design a brand identity that connects with the brand’s target audience: People seeking personal training without breaking the bank. The overall design concept was created to inspire people to enroll in a personalized online fitness program that is cost effective and caters to their schedule.

The lightning bolt was chosen as the symbol to represent the fitness brand. We chose hues of orange, yellow, and blues to compliment the brand’s core keywords: Electric, Motivating, Empowerment.

Doanburi is a virtual kitchen offering "Treasure Boxes" filled with premium Japanese sushi that can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home. I developed their brand identity and packaging material with a minimalist approach, drawing subtle design inspiration from Japanese culture.

Visual Identity

Developing a Premium Brand Inspired by Japan.

Doanburi’s visual identity is deeply influenced by Japan, the chef’s background, and her passion for sushi. At the chef’s request, we incorporated the iconic red sea bream, a cherished symbol of Japanese cuisine and culture.

Packaging Solution

A Solution for the Treasure Box.

In collaboration with a print vendor, we successfully produced packaging sleeves to keep the treasure boxes secure. The minimalistic sleeve design complement the boxes, enhancing the overall presentation to contribute to the Doanburi experience.

Print Material

Essentials to Support the Business.

To boost business visibility, I designed business cards and flyers for distribution at local food events, networking functions, and alongside customer orders. These materials highlight Doanburi’s services to attract potential customers, while enhancing brand recognition.
